WNG Terms & Conditions:
Memberships, Events, and Consultations
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing an annual membership.
By purchasing a WNG membership, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Annual Membership Commitment
WNG membership is a 12-month commitment beginning on the member’s enrollment or renewal date.
Members may choose to pay the annual membership investment in full or through four quarterly installments. The quarterly payment option is a payment plan for the full 12-month membership term. It does not create a quarterly or month-to-month membership.
By completing the membership purchase, the member agrees to remain financially responsible for the full annual membership investment, including all scheduled quarterly payments, regardless of participation in or use of membership benefits.
2. Payment Options
A. Annual Payment Plan
Members who select the annual payment option will be charged the full annual membership investment at checkout.
If automatic renewal is authorized, the member will be charged the applicable annual membership investment at the beginning of each subsequent 12-month membership term unless automatic renewal is canceled before the renewal is processed.
B. Quarterly Payment Plan
Members who select the quarterly payment option agree to pay the full annual membership investment in four scheduled installments.
The first installment will be charged at checkout. The remaining three installments will be charged automatically approximately every three months during the 12-month membership term.
The quarterly payment plan may not be canceled after the membership term begins. Turning off renewal for a future membership year does not cancel or eliminate any remaining quarterly payments due for the current term.
3. Refund Policy
All WNG membership payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law.
No full or partial refunds, credits, or prorated reimbursements will be provided because of:
Failure to attend meetings or events
Failure to use membership benefits
Scheduling conflicts
Relocation
Changes in personal or professional circumstances
Dissatisfaction with membership benefits
A decision to discontinue participation before the membership term ends
Membership benefits remain available to the member throughout the applicable 12-month term.
Events:
Unless otherwise stated in the specific event, event tickets may be canceled and refunded up to 24 hours prior to the event.
4. Midyear Cancellation
WNG membership may not be canceled during an active 12-month membership term.
A member may discontinue participation at any time, but doing so does not end the current membership term, create eligibility for a refund, or eliminate any unpaid installments associated with the annual commitment.
Members who do not wish to continue for another year may turn off automatic renewal before the next annual renewal is processed. Canceling automatic renewal applies only to the following membership term.
5. Protected Membership Rates
From time to time, WNG may offer certain members a protected membership rate based on eligibility, membership history, promotional terms, or the terms of a specific membership offer. Protected rates are not available to all members and do not represent a guarantee that WNG’s general membership pricing will remain unchanged.
Members who have been granted a protected membership rate will retain that rate as long as they maintain continuous membership and renew by their applicable annual renewal date.
If a membership expires or lapses, the protected rate will be forfeited. If the former member later chooses to rejoin WNG, membership will be subject to the rates and terms available at the time of re-enrollment.
Protected membership rates apply only to the eligible member and may not be transferred, shared, or extended to another individual.
6. Automatic Renewal
By separately agreeing to automatic renewal, the member authorizes WNG to renew the membership for an additional 12-month term and charge the payment method on file according to the payment option selected.
Annual-payment memberships will renew with one annual charge.
Quarterly-payment memberships will renew for another 12-month term and be charged in four scheduled installments.
Members who have been granted a protected membership rate will renew at that protected rate as long as they remain eligible under Section 5.
WNG will provide an advance renewal reminder that includes the upcoming renewal date, renewal amount, payment frequency, and instructions for stopping automatic renewal.
Automatic renewal will continue until the member cancels it.
A member may stop automatic renewal for the next membership term by using the cancellation option available through her online account or by emailing [email protected] before the next renewal charge is processed.
A request to stop automatic renewal:
Prevents the membership from renewing for a new 12-month term
Does not cancel the current membership term
Does not provide a refund
Does not eliminate any remaining quarterly installments for the current membership term
WNG will process requests to stop automatic renewal promptly.
7. Membership Benefits:
Members enjoy access to all benefits outlined here https://www.wngct.com/join.
Benefits may include, but are not limited to, exclusive content, discounts, special offers, and other membership opportunities.
Membership Directory - a valuable resource for building relationships and collaborations.
Spotlights and features are dependent upon members providing requested information (e.g. headshot, logo, etc.)
8. Guest Attendance Policy:
Members may invite guests to meetings under the following conditions:
One-Time Guest Attendance: Each guest may attend one meeting as a complimentary experience before deciding to purchase a membership or pay for individual meeting attendance.
No Repeat Invitations: Members are not permitted to invite the same guest to more than one meeting without the guest committing to membership or paying for additional attendance.
9. Code of Conduct:
Members must adhere to a code of conduct that ensures a respectful and inclusive environment.
Any behavior considered inappropriate, such as harassment, discrimination, or policy violations, may result in termination of membership without a refund.
10. Online Purchase Terms:
All online transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the payment processor.
WNG is not responsible for any issues related to payment processing, such as errors, delays, or security breaches.
Any coupon code or discount must be used at the time of purchase.
11. Membership Upgrades and Downgrades:
Members may upgrade to another available membership option at any time. Membership downgrades may only take effect at the end of the current membership term.
12. Termination of Membership:
WNG reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for violation of these Terms and Conditions, the WNG Code of Conduct, or other conduct that WNG reasonably determines is harmful to the organization, its members, or its community. If a membership is terminated for such reasons, access to membership benefits will cease immediately and no refund will be provided.
13. Modification of Terms:
WNG reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the WNG website and, when appropriate, communicated to members by email or other reasonable means.
Changes related to future membership terms, benefits, policies, or general membership pricing may take effect upon a member's next renewal or as otherwise specified by WNG.
Material changes affecting the financial obligations of an active 12-month membership term will not apply retroactively, except where required by law or agreed to by the member.
14. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Connecticut.
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Connecticut.
15. Fulfillment Policy:
Most member benefits are available at the time of purchase. Delays may occur due to software or technical issues. If you are having an issue accessing a benefit, please reach out to [email protected].
16. Privacy Policy:
WNG's collection, use, storage, and protection of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy for additional information about our privacy practices.
17. Intellectual Property:
All content provided through the membership, including text, images, and multimedia, is the intellectual property of WNG or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws.
Members may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without express permission from WNG.
18. Photo Release:
By purchasing a membership, you allow WNG to use photos or videos taken during events for promotional purposes.
By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with the membership purchase.
