Can Amplify Our Shared Impact
As a valued speaker for the Women’s Networking Group (WNG), you’re not just sharing your expertise—you’re helping to shape and strengthen a thriving community of women supporting women. We ask that all speakers take an active role in promoting their event, not only to boost attendance but to extend the reach of your message and ensure everyone benefits. When we each show up and share, we all grow—together.
To help make this easy and effective, please follow the simple guidelines below.
1. Establishing the Event

Provide all necessary event details—including hi-res headshot, logos and visuals—to help us create an attractive and effective events page.
2. Pre-Event Promotion Requirements
Social Media and Online Platforms:

Speakers are expected to post event details on their social media platforms for example: Nextdoor, Facebook (including a Facebook Event), Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Share the details with your email list, and feel free to promote in additional groups or platforms.

It’s recommended that speakers send out at least 2-3 emails prior to an event and post at least twice per platform.
Tagging for Reposts:

When posting about the event on social media, please tag or collaborate with us using the handles:

This enables us to repost and amplify your content.

Include relevant mentions or hashtags such as: New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Wilton, Ridgefield, Fairfield, Stamford, Connecticut, and Fairfield County, CT.
Live Sessions:

Contact us to schedule live sessions on Instagram if you are interested in collaborating.

Alternatively, feel free to host your own live event and tag us on social media.
WNG Promotion:

Your event will be created once all information has been collected.

WNG will promote your event through weekly emails, our website, local news sources, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).

3. Venue Access and Timings
In-Person Events:

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (for our regular Monthly Networking Meetings)

Ensure the premises are vacated by 12:30 PM.

Arrival Time:

Arrive 30 minutes before the event start time (by 10:00 AM) to set up properly.

AV & Venue Coordination:

Contact the New Canaan Library well in advance to confirm that all audiovisual and technical requirements are met.

This includes verifying the availability of equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and any other necessary support.

Communicate your specific needs to the venue management to finalize arrangements before the event.

Arrive 15 minutes before the event start time to allow for proper set up.

4. Referral Partnership Agreement

By participating in a WNG event, you agree to a referral partnership arrangement.

If any attendee or referral engages your services—whether through group sessions, one-on-one coaching, or any program/course offerings—you agree to compensate WNG with a referral fee.

Specific fee percentages, terms, and reporting procedures will be detailed in a separate addendum or agreement.

This arrangement acknowledges WNG’s role in facilitating initial connections and fosters a mutually beneficial partnership.
6. Additional Collaboration Points

Filming Consent:

You agree to be filmed during the event. Virtual events are also recorded.

Any captured footage will be shared exclusively with WNG members via our Members Resource area on the website.

Short clips may also be used for promotional purposes.

Event Footage:
-
You grant WNG permission to use event footage for social media promotions, thereby extending the event’s visibility.

Full recordings are reserved for WNG’s speaker catalog accessible only by WNG members.

Full recording will be shared with the presenter to be used in the following ways:

Presenter may create content clips of video to be shared for promotional purposes and tag @womensnetworkinggroup and @elizabethblanchard31

7. Post-Event Requirements
Attendee Information:

WNG manages the attendee list and does not share it with presenters, ensuring the privacy of our members.
Follow-Up Communication:

After the event, WNG will send a thank-you note to all attendees, promoting you as a presenter and providing your contact information.

Presenters are encouraged to send a follow-up message to their own audience, inviting them to engage with WNG and participate in future events.
Social Media Engagement:

You are encouraged to share WNG’s event recap reel on your social media platforms and tag @womensnetworkinggroup and @elizabethblanchard31 for further engagement.
